Slug or when he tries to be posh - Jojalane Superior Risk
Lets see, well Slug couldn't be posh if he tried. Firstly there's the burping, you can virtually guarantee that when we have guests round the house he will invariably burp right in their face or failing that, their ear!
Secondly, theres the regurgitating, specially reserved for really exciting guests. This is made slightly worse by the fact we have laminated flooring so you can see the offending food in all its glory. It normally follows this pattern....get excited, run into kitchen, gulp food from bowl as fast as possible, run back to hall where guest is, cough and regurgitate just millimetres from their foot. Look up at guest with most winning look possible and wag tail as hard as possible.
Sometimes, when the guest is someone he really likes, he will lose all bladder control and wet himself in total excitement, thankfully this only happens with people we know really well and so they are used to yelling at us to get the mop out again!!
As you can probably tell from our photo's, Slug is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is therefore obviously really, really vicious. So vicious in fact that he had to growl at a menacing looking milkshake bottle once because it had the audacity to be hanging out near a lamp post one morning! He is so mean he once licked a spider into submission and is so vile and mean tempered that he attacks the bubbles from the bath with fierce sneezes!! Oh and he likes to taste the mail in the morning, especially if it is wrapped in plastic or includes a padded envelope.
You may also notice that Slug looks very skinny in some of the photo's in the gallery, this has nothing to do with him not having enough to eat and everything to do with the fact that he nearly died from suspected parvo-virus. We had only had him two weeks and the breeders were still trying to get his vaccination records from the previous owners, we didn't have pet insurance and it cost us a fortune but if you have a decent vet they are usually prepared to let you pay in installments each month. Because he hung in there and took everything the vets and assistants could throw at him and he didn't once growl or moan even once, he is now the biggest celebrity pet there!! Bless his little cottons!! We wouldn't change him for the World.
